- gnome-python 0.99 interfaces to the GNOME widgetset, and pygtk 0.5.10 to GTK+. (alternative to Tkinter) (see DN442950299)
- PyGresSQL 2.3 interfaces to the PostgresSQL database engine. It's still not DB-SIG API compliant, but that's promised for version 3.0 (see DN444887841)
- pyrite 0.6.0 is an extension package for Palm Computing platform (Pilot, PamlPilot, PalmIII). Previously called PalmPython (see DN441726762)
