Subject: Tcl Object System is on the Web - DN [1]

Hello everybody! I'm not actively participating to this newsgroup but I often use Tcl for my own developments and experiments. I'd like to announce a new project called TOS (for Tcl Object System) that is yet another Tcl extension for Object-Oriented Programming (like [incr tcl]). The interresting point in TOS, is that it is fully reflective. Practically, it means that the system contains some special objects (called Class, Metaclass and Object) that control the base objects behaviors and definitions. Those meta-level objects can be used to easily write neat metaprograms (like analysers, documentation generators, program transformers and so on...). Here is the project home-page for more details: http://cedric.cnam.fr/personne/pawlak/tos.html -- Renaud Pawlak, PhD Student CEDRIC-CNAM Laboratory. Phone : (00 33) 06 60 92 64 17.
