 BizConnect is a powerful software platform that allows companies to
 leverage the Internet, the Web, and the XML standard to automate their
 interactions with suppliers, customers, and partners. BizConnect makes it
 easy for applications in one organization to communicate directly with
 applications in another organization to automate processes such as
 supply-chain management, syndication, and financial transactions.  The

 BizConnect leverages Tcl to provide  the most flexible, easy-to-use server
 platform for business-to-business XML applications. The platform includes
 Tcl/Tk 8.2.1, web server plug-ins for Apache and IIS (more to come such as
 Netscape), and Tcl extensions for integration with COM/ASP, ADO/OLE
 DB/ODBC, Java/EJB/JDBC, ORACLE 7/8, and legacy systems through Expect.
 BizConnect also includes configuration and development tools to speed up
 the integration process. BizConnect Author provides a graphical
 development environment that supports visual navigation of XML documents
 (no need for DOM programming !) with integration wizards and drag and drop
 development of XML document handlers. BizConnect Author includes
 customized pieces of TclPro to support checking and debugging your server
 applications.

 BizConnect provides many different business opportunities for the Tcl
 community.  Tcl developers inside large corporations can leverage their
 Tcl skills and expertise to quickly implement business-to-business
 applications, a highly visible market area.  Independent Tcl developers,
 consultants and systems integrators can provide implementation services,
 TEA-compatible extensions, and custom "wizards" for BizConnect.  Product
 companies that have Tcl-based offerings can either embed and resell
 BizConnect to expand their products into the B2B market.
