 CALL FOR PAPERS: TCL/2K

The deadline for submissions to the 7th Usenix Tcl/Tk Conference
(Austin, TX, Feb 2000) is approaching! Submissions are due
 September 1st...

Your conference co-chairs strongly encourage you to submit a
 paper, poster, or demo proposal.

All these forms of participation provide an opportunity to report
on your original Tcl/Tk work. Formal papers should address topics
of interest to experienced Tcl/Tk programmers; posters and informal
demos may be geared to any level of user from beginner to expert.

Topics include, but are certainly not limited to:

     Tcl/Tk extensions

         Novel Tcl/Tk-based applications

Experience reports: designing, building, and supporting
         Tcl/Tk applications

Comparative evaluations: Tcl/Tk vs other languages or
         toolkits for building applications

Programming paradigms: those you've used with Tcl/Tk, and
         proposals for new directions

Mission-critical applications: deployment and management of
                 large/critical Tcl/Tk applications

The Tcl/Tk conference is a lively and creative event, as you might
expect from the quality of the language community. Everyone is
welcome, from rank beginners to recognized notables. If you've
achieved something significant using Tcl/Tk, we want to hear about
 it!
