Subject: Website Password Authentication using Expect - DN [1]

 I am currently using Expect to visit a website via the telnet protocol.  I am
 having difficulty when trying to access a particular URL that is
 password-authenticated.  I cannot seem to capture the pop-up box that requires
 the user to enter a username and password.  This type of access control is set
 by the webserver for URLs requiring authentication.  The protocol to the URL
 is given as https.

 How can I develop the proper expect code to handle this type of interaction?
