Subject: ANNOUNCE: Adventures in Linux Porgramming web page - DN [1]

rpragana@acm.org - 14 Nov 1998 - comp.lang.tcl.announce

I have started my home page "Adventures in Linux Programming" with
some Tcl/tk code that may be useful:

Slidedraw -- a presentation slides drawing program with postscript output,
multislide compressed files with embedded images, easy font/color/zoom
     selection.

SlideWidget -- a canvas replacemente, more suitable for doing programs like
the above, because of it's speed, -zoom option, gradients in the
widget background, "xor" rubberbands, arbitrarily rotated text items.

There is also some weekly notes about intriguing tcl coding topics.
Most of the software is unix-specific, sorry NT/Win98 users.

 The page is at http://lowrent.org/devapps/
