Best bet this week is to spend some time looking at the newly released BWidget widget set; its all Tcl code, and the widgets look really nice. And you are all starting to think about papers for Tcl2K, right?
- A good thread on tcl_findLibrary, raising the question of why Tcl code supporting the Tcl/Tk libraries is on disk to start with (thread [2])
- Jeff Hobbs releases version 1.4 of his popular TkCon package (see DN445647701)
- The BWidget package is a set of high-level procedurally-oriented widgets that may make a good addition to your interface toolbox http://www.unifix-online.com/BWidget/
- Are object interfaces (i.e. Tcl_Obj) useful for extension despite the awkwardness compared to string interfaces? Read this exchange (thread [3])
- If you're continually being bitten by Tcl's method of handling comments, this thread may be your new support group (thread [4])
