Subject: Would you like to take a survey? - DN [1]

lvirden@cas.org - 20 Feb 2000 - comp.lang.tcl

I would love to hear from the clt community your perceptions about the
Tcl conference . I am particularly interested in hearing from those who
have not attended one. What are some of the factors in why you have not
attended? Price? Location? Time of year? Lack of interest in topics
to be discussed? Lack of interest in conventions? Lack of interest in
conventions outside your field of endeavor? Is it that you 'have a life'
outside programming and you don't feel like spending that time talking to
others about computers? Feeling that you would not benefit from hearing
how others use Tcl? Feeling that this is just for those doing Tcl core
work or for 'insiders'? Or is it something else outside of all of this?

I am just curious what the community perceptions are to the convention.
If you would rather email me than post publically, that would be great
 as well.
