Subject: New mod_dtcl: 0.7.3 - DN [1]

davidw@prosa.it (David N. Welton) - 29 Jan 2000 - comp.lang.tcl

I am announcing the release of a new mod_dtcl, which has some
 significant improvements:

An overhaul of the header handling, so that it's possible to output
different things - html, gifs, text, etc.

Reworking of internal buffering and file handling, with the result
being that it's possible to handle binary data. (It's now possible to
use gdtclft, for instance, from within mod_dtcl, to output gifs).

Some adjustment of GET argument parsing.

The mod_dtcl home page is at:
 http://comanche.com.dtu.dk/dave/

As a new feature on the web page, I have made the HTML'ized sources
 available:
 http://comanche.com.dtu.dk/dave/browse-source.html

Mod_dtcl is an Apache module that enables the use of Tcl as a server
parsed language, letting you create easy, fast, and powerful scripts
for the generation of web pages.

If you have any questions, *please* address them to the mod_dtcl
 mailing list (mod_dtcl AT lists.prosa.it).

 TODO - what mod_dtcl needs:

The ability to upload files via forms. I've looked at the PHP code
for this, and it's kind of ugly.

 I18n. See my post:

(the examples page is fixed, BTW).

 Ciao,
