Subject: Posters for Tcl/2K Conference - DN [1]

de@yakuza.ucolick.org (De Clarke) - 07 Jan 2000 - comp.lang.tcl

To all Tcl/Tk Hackers, er, Distinguished Software Engineers...

We are really short of posters for Tcl/2K. It's past the deadline
for poster text to get into the Proceedings, but it's not quite too
late to submit a poster and get it into the poster room! This is a
nice informal way to present your work -- less effort than an oral
paper, and you get more of a chance to discuss the work with
individuals as they peruse the posters. Graphical applications
are particularly suitable for poster display.

See http://www.usenix.org/events/tcl2k for info about submitting
posters, size limitations, etc; you can mail poster proposals
 (abstract, general description) to

     tclchairs@usenix.org

I know the scarcity of poster submissions this year is not due to
any lack of exciting work going on in the Tcl world... so send us
 some proposals!

We do need to see them in advance because of the logistics (provision
of poster display space, etc) -- need to know how many there will be.
