lux n : a unit of illumination equal to 1 lumen per square meter; 0.0929 foot candle <syn: {lx}>
JCW: Lux is a new (as of Feb 2001) project, which brings Lua and a number of extensions into a form which can more easily be embedded into other languages, such as Tcl, Python, Perl, and Ruby. The homepage is at http://www.equi4.com/lux/ (with some documentation in [1]) - this is work in progress!
Are you changing the syntax/parser or just creating libraries? If it's just libraries then you can still call it Lua...
Good point. I would very much prefer staying with the "standard" syntax and VM, so scripts remain compatible, but at the same time do not wish to rule out changes later on. --jcw
