The Starkit Developer eXtension (SDX) contains a number of scripts used to manage starkits.
On Windows
- make sure you have tclkitsh.exe - see downloading tclkitsh
- download http://www.equi4.com/pub/sk/sdx.kit
(you may need to right-click on the above when using Internet Explorer)
- download http://www.equi4.com/pub/sk/sdx.bat
- test, by typing "sdx" from the command prompt
- you should see a few lines of information returned by SDX
On Unix
- make sure you have tclkit - see downloading tclkit
- download http://www.equi4.com/pub/sk/sdx.kit
- rename the file, "mv sdx.kit sdx"
- make it executable, "chmod +x sdx"
- test, by typing "sdx"
- you should see a few lines of information returned by SDX
Troubleshooting
SDX is itself a starkit. It runs in command-line mode, which means that on Windows you need tclkitsh, not tclkit, to run it. You can run it like any other starkit, e.g. one of:
tclkit[sh] sdx ...
./sdx ...
sdx ...
