[Starkit] 8.5 starkit vs windows?

Any known problems using the current 8.5 starkit on Windows
platform?

I've been helping someone with some problems in a program.
Moving to 8.5 would solve several major problems.  The
program works fine with my solaris starkit 8.5a2.
However, the user is sending me what is reported to be
a large number of errors when trying the program under
8.5.  This program worked, to some degree, with the
starkit 8.4 on windows.  So there to be a large number
of errors just by switching to a new starkit seems
surprizing to me.  Obviously we need more info - I've
been waiting several days for the person to send me
the specifics.
