[Metakit] going over memory-mapped size limit

i am doing updates to a metakit file which is over 1GB in size, and
Commit() seems to be failing.
i suspect that c4_FileStrategy::DataWrite() fails if the file becomes
too big to memory map.  (the
update probably changes most of the data in the file.)  looking at the
code, i see nothing to
handle this case.

am i right?  if so, has anyone fixed this?
