Web server configuration

The www.equi4.com web server is based on three central processes:

All static content (pages and file downloads) is served by Lighttpd. The rest is generated dynamically by two Tclkit instances. The front-end produces the results, the back-end handles all database changes as described in TN03 [1]. The CPU load and memory use is minimal - it's all driven by a 700 MHz x86 Linux box.
